About the Authors

 

Predrag Cicovacki is Associate Professor of Philosophy at the College of the Holy Cross. He is author and editor of seven books, including Anamorphosis: Cicovacki PictureKant on Knowledge and Ignorance (1997), Between Truth and Illusion: Kant at the Crossroads of Modernity (2002), and Destined for Evil? Twentieth Century Replies (2005). He is currently finishing a book with the working title, Dostoevsky and the Affirmation of Life, and is preparing for print a collection of essays by Albert Schweitzer.

 

 

 

Martin Vezér received his Honours BA from York University and is currently Vezer Picturea MSc candidate in the Philosophy of the Social Sciences program at the London School of Economics and Political Science.  He can be contacted at martinvezer@hotmail.com.


 

 

  
Kristian Urstad has a B.A. in philosophy from Simon Fraser University in Urstad PictureCanada and an M.A. and PhD in philosophy from the University of Oslo, Norway.  He recently completed his PhD dissertation and is expecting to have his formal defence sometime before Christmas, 2007. His area is Ancient Philosophy, more specifically Ancient Ethics. His dissertation topic was the ethics of a little known contemporary and student of Socrates, Aristippus.


 

 

Sean T. McGovern is a graduate of Hamilton College in beautiful Clinton, NY. He has strong interests in physics and phenomenology. He currently lives in Strasbourg, France.
